On April 8th, Avenged Sevenfold launched Ticket Pass which is a blockchain based verification and rewards system for any fan that chooses to participate. It is free, eco-friendly and requires very few steps to make sure fans can acquire the tickets you desire.
These passes will be upgraded into “tiers” over time and rewarding the people who have been participating in merchandise purchasing via NFC tags, listening habits, music consumption, live events and other metrics.
We launched Ticket Pass before the second leg of the Life Is But A Dream... North American Tour was announced, allowing fans to acquire a Ticket Pass for free by simply signing up for a MetaMask account and logging into AvengedSevenfold.io and following a special Ticketmaster link. They were then able to purchase tickets before any other fans with no dynamic pricing, no scalpers, and no long queues.
